Welcome To The Helpful Classroom

My name is Jenny Morgan, and I am an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles, CA.

I created The Helpful Classroom right when our world turned upside down from Covid-19. When we went into lockdown on March 12, 2020, I began to receive panicked phone calls and texts from dear friends far and wide who were navigating school closures with their children. They reached out to ask me if I could supplement classroom materials as their schools did not have a plan in place at that time. In a matter of a few days, I pulled together my favorite resources from my own collection as well as from educators across the world and placed them in a shareable document.

Within hours, I had received hundreds of requests for more resources, and thus, The Helpful Classroom was born.

I want to provide support to anyone who is navigating distance learning, home schooling, or tutorial lessons. I am here to provide additional support to you during this unprecedented time. These resources are tried and true, as they have been used in my classroom and my colleagues’ classrooms. I hope that you find what you are looking for.
