Jenny Morgan has worked with children of nearly every age and stage, from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. She has formally worked in education for over 10 years, and her personal mission is deeply rooted in the value of philanthropy and service to others. She is a proud Southern California native, born and raised in Palos Verdes, and graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Television.
After working in the entertainment industry for several years, Jenny felt a strong calling to work with young people. She was led to USC’s Rossier School of Education, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Education. While completing her M.A., Jenny taught a summer Kindergarten readiness program, and also began teaching a 6th and 7th Grade study skills course, which she continued to do for three years. Thereafter, Jenny taught 11th and 12th Grade English Language Arts in Houston, Texas, at an urban charter school serving low-income families. Now, Jenny works at a private elementary school, serving as both a full-time teacher and after-school theatre director.
Outside of teaching, Jenny gives her time to causes close to the heart. She volunteers with Children's Hospital Los Angeles, mentors students through the Youth Citizenship Seminar held at Pepperdine University, and is an advocate for the Step-Up Women's Network, City of Hope, and The Blind Children's Center.
